TRUDDU Negroamaro Intense, enveloping red, carefully aged to bring out the authentic character of the grape variety. The nose offers notes of ripe red fruits, sweet spices and light balsamic nuances. The palate is harmonious, persistent and velvety, ideal with meat dishes and aged cheeses.
Produced in the upper Salento according to the traditional agronomic practices. La harvest takes place in the second half of September, when they are selected in the vineyard only the perfectly ripe clusters, collected in crates.
In the winery, the grapes are lightly pressed and left to Ferment and macerate for 18 days at 20 °C. This is followed by a long aging at steel tanks and French oak tonneaux for 12 months, before bottling.
A wine from the purplish color, with notes by blueberry and black cherry. These evolve into smoky and spicy undertones, with a pleasant dried fruit aftertaste. It offers a lingering taste, with elegant freshness and minerality, enriched by Strong hints of black pepper, cloves and nutmeg.
Perfect with grilled meats and aged cheeses.
Recommended serving temperature: 16-18 °C.
